Going to my first game when we play Florida. My girlfriend and I want to get the whole tailgating experience. Looking for advice on what to do and how to go about it. Thanks

Get there early. Bring an ice chest you can easily roll around with beer. Walk around and meet people/tell them your story. You will be welcomed many places, and be given the best advice on where to go, what to see, etc.

Stop eating 2 days before kickoff. Spend time filling piss balloons. Take as many drugs as possible and wash down with alcohol. At prime intoxication, throw piss balloons at opposing fans in gator gear.

That game hopefully be a big game. I'll be setting up 5 different tailgates for the game. There are 4 that are in talking distance and you are more than welcome to come enjoy the festivities.
Its one of those games where we will have bartenders, someone cooking, and great music. It's a great time and of y'all choose to not go into the stadium we will have the game on TV at all the tailgates

Book hotels now.
Stay at a nice hotel downtown or at L'Auberge (they offer a shuttle to and from the game for $10 last I checked).
Eat at Chimes or Parrain's the night before.
Walk from Dalrymple/Highland towards Victory Hill and there's a ton of spots to meet some potentially nice tailgaters. You can explain it's your first game and you might get some free food and maybe a beer.
If you have Twitter/X, follow @zrau he has a pretty large following and post his menus the week of the game. $5 for food and $10 for food and drink. They have the large circus style tent near the Indian Mounds.
That whole area at the roundabout in front of Cox Auditorium has a lot of ig tailgates going on where you can find something as well.
Be in that vicinity when the team arrives.
Have fun.

The game is in BR so my advice to a first timer is to just show up and take it all in. Park in an area convenient to y’all and catch a ride or walk to the stadium. You basically want to be a tourist fan by action. Photos, gathering intel, eating all kinds of shyt for free and getting trinkets/souvenirs/memorabilia from other fans. LSU fans love first timers so let the vet tailgaters know they’re breaking you in. That shyt’s the equivalent an 18 year old having an orgasm for the first time. By the way, UF is a good first game. They’re down now but this matchup has been delivering drama. Enjoy

If it's just yall two, walk around and enjoy the environment you in. I usually went with a group of people and we would cook and stuff. But, I remember going to a Florida game with just my cousin and hanging out with Florida fans the whole time, even got tickets in the first row from them, lol.

Y’all can come to ours, depending on the pics you send of the aforementioned girlfriend.

Wear some sort of clothing or hat or something that describes where you're from and it's your first visit :)
