if we hear positive stuff about LSU and Colin Simmons tomorrow before his commitment

I feel like this is gonna swing back and forth just to build anticipation for the commitment. He’s obviously trying to soak in the spotlight

But this is just a COMMITMENT!

It’s not ESD or NSD

This battle will not be over until he signs

Just like everyone has been saying before people starting freaking out today

Not trying to sound like a homer but if he goes to LSU then he is a top 10 draft pick in 3 years. If he goes to UT then he will be 2nd-3rd round.

At this point, it’s his loss if he don’t commit to LSU. Texas has a horrible history of converting 5 stars to top notch NFL talent. The Texas bag might be nice in the short term, but LSU allows you the opportunity to get big NFL contracts

Kids swing towards home at the last minute. It’s more likely that he would commit to LSU, then flip to Texas than vice versa

What college football has become is rent-a-player. If he doesn't like it there his first year, he can just simply move on the next.

He has most likely told the school he is committing to that he’s coming.

In any event we want mature young men who want to come put in the work and be part of what we have going on here. If the dude wants to play games he can mosy on down the road as far as I'm concerned.

We want volunteers, not prisoners, and if the dude wants to sign with 5-7 Texas bc he got paid then fine, but let's put a wrap on the process and move on.

Maturity and drive matter. Is he a Perriloux or a Gilbert (failed 5*) or a Jefferson (no stars but chest for miles)? Only time will tell.

I'd love to have his athleticism, truly, but I certainly don't like the game playing that's going on. He knows where he's going and should have already informed CBK so as to not abuse his hospitality.

Let’s be honest here, if you were a 17-18 year old kid from Dallas, what looks better to you, Austin or Baton Rouge? Add in the fact that Austin is only a couple hours away whereas Baton Rouge is 7-8 hrs away. Also add in the fact that you have a severely autistic brother that you want to be close to in case needs arise for him. And oh by the way, you’re going to get half a million dollars for your troubles.

Very hard to say no to that deal. Don’t get me wrong, I really want us to land him, but I get it if he goes to Texas.
