Imagine the education one can get virtually. No need for classroom management. No classroom interruptions for behavior. No fights. No need for expensive buildings. Would solve the teacher shortage since class sizes can triple. No need for bus drivers, buses, gas. We all know that’s the way it’s going

Anyone think there will be a reverse trend at some point? A push to start going back in to work?
I've WFH for the last 13 years, for some quite large tech companies during that time. It's nothing new, just new for some companies recently.
I've also been laid off for not wanting to relocate to an office location to appease a VP that wanted all team members together in one location...not just the WFH people, but also employees working at another company site. That company has since reversed that position when they were having issues hiring new employees.

Chatted with a company today about a non remote job in Philly i was told it’s actually remote but we don’t advertise remote work it’s Philly you have to really want to work here it helps weed people out. I am like you are telling me this in an interview OK

Hybrid seems to be the normal now. Not even set days in the office either. People come to work when they need to and work from home when it makes sense. Pretty refreshing in a professional work environment. At least where I work, works very well.
