It’s not homerism, it’s the undeniable fact that Ricks came in with a big head, showed a lot of talent as a freshman and regressed each successive year to the point where he was our 12th man against Bama.

I get the fan perspective of feeling burned and certainly it was entertaining watching him against LSU last season but reality is what it is. He’s very talented and showed out during the preseason, hence Philly holding on to him.
