Louisiana LLWS Champs Recruits?

Are any of the kids from the Louisiana team that won the LLWS several years ago college level players?
I know a lot of those types of kids just went through puberty early but I remember that one kid that hit like .750 in the tournament was a smaller kid so maybe he panned out?
Just wondering if anyone has any info. Thanks

Marshal Louque is on the 2025 commit list. He is the only one that I have seen as a commit.

Ryder Planchard
I grew up with this young man's Father. Good dude. Rob P. It's nice to see his son doing so well.

That team was fun to watch.

Ascension Parish Little League beat Eastbank Little League last night to win the state championship and head to Waco, Tx for regionals, and a chance at a ticket to Williamsport.
Scott Frazier is still coaching Eastbank LL, but they were not nearly as loaded this season and Ascension's program is on the upswing.
Ascension Parish is slowly and quietly building a very strong LL program, this is only year 3 of their build. Were a player or 2 short last season, did beat Eastbank for the first time last season in game 1 of District.
Broke through last night by beating Eastbank again, but this time when is matters, in the state Championship game.
Don't think this Ascension team is good enough to win it all in Williamsport, but it would be cool to see Louisiana boys back there again and on ESPN. Unfortunately the only way to watch the action in Waco, Tx in a couple weeks is to have Longhorn Network.

I was there. Ascension Parish won the 10 year old and 12 year old Championships last night. They got some players on their team too. Dutchtown coach son is a stud!

AP also won 15/16 Senior division State title and will be playing in Seguin Texas this weekend. Also 13yr old 50/70 Intermediate State Title and will be playing in Sugarland Texas this weekend

Yes, very good middle infielder, great kid too, I know him and the family pretty well. His hitting took a step in the right direction this year, but prior years it was a major weakness compared to the rest of his game.

Tyson Morin on that team is one to keep an eye on. Lefthander with some high-end skills. Did he mature early and is better now, but will come back to the pack, or will he continue to progress beyond others? He's a virtual lock to make St. Amant's incoming freshman team next season.

Tyson’s got big time stuff. Stat line over 2 games from state tournament, both against Lafayette, was 8 2/3 IP 6H, 1R, 23 K’s ??. Eli Clark kid from Lafayette is one to watch too.

Louque might not make it to campus, because of the MLB Draft, but we’ll see.

AP may retain the upper hand for a while in the 15/16 division. Some of the Catholic League schools in the Nola area will not allow their baseball players to compete on outside teams. In addition, rugby and lacrosse are gaining big time in popularity at a few of those schools, which is leading to attrition in baseball. Kids have better scholarship opportunities in those 2 sports than baseball.

Rugby more so than lacrosse. Big time scholarships to east coast schools and European universities.

LL is a fricking joke. They are all travel ball players who also play in the little league and are the predetermined all star team. Then they go play modified fake 12u baseball

you must have sucked at baseball!
