I was in the hospital twice in 2020 - in March and August at the height of the “pandemic” (non-Covid related illness). UAB, the largest hospital in Alabama. The ER was a ghost town and my floor was half full. But my TV told me bodies were being stacked in refrigerated trucks and sick people were lining the halls for lack of rooms. I saw the opposite with my own eyes.

But the totality of this situation - our lasting anger - is based on the government creating a virus (I believe it accidentally got out, it was not a planned attack) and using the opportunity to take away bodily autonomy, free speech, free practice of religion, and the right to work and self determination.

The COVID response was the largest attack on our freedom in this countries history.

That is why we take it so personally.

They suppressed our speech.
They denied us access to our parents in assisted living.
They did not allow us to mourn our relatives.
They forced a medical treatment on us.
They prevented us from getting cancer detected earlier.
They shut down small business and left large ones open.

They exponentially expanded poverty and forced a generation of children out of school. That will impact their learning forever.
