The Braves need any combination of RP, SP, and LF that they can get. Which is why I said in the trade deadline thread this isn’t an either/or type of discussion. You don’t dismiss pieces that improve the club because of some perceived notion that another missing piece is more important

I mean if there is a deal to be had for an upgrade in LF, go for it, but we're not going to do much better than Eddie with an OPS hovering around .800 without giving up a lot.

Maybe try and bring back Duvall again, but that is a marginal improvement, if any at all.

Meh.

Broski is right, Eddie is just fine in LF w/an OPS around .800 and(yesterday notwithstanding) decent defense in LF. The offense is fine, we need to focus on upgrading pitching, you can never have enough.

You can't have your cake and eat it too. Focus on your weakest link(pen, maybe the rotation) and strengthen it, the offense isn't broken so why fix it?
