Ford claims this is getting back to normal as inflationary pressures have eased. It’s still priced $10k more than when it was introduced 2+ years ago.

I will not be holding my breath for a $10k drop in sales price for ICE F150s

If you do much towing they are pretty gay.

Saw a Hummer EV on the road last fall and kinda want.

*Don't see a lot of EVs in rural WI.

People are basically paying a mortgage on a vehicle these days with the only difference being the minute you drive it off the lot you have lost a lot more value than owning a new home. People have lost their minds paying this much for a car or a truck but hey it's their money.

What are you going to do if you need a vehicle? Buy a used one that you have no idea about the upkeep and still pay inflated prices? Sometimes it makes sense to buy new, others it doesn't. I agree that auto prices are out of control.

Just like there is a strong contingent of EV owners who believe their vehicles are "emissions free."

No one ever needs a new vehicle.

Yes.

I really can’t think of any time in the last 3 years where this has made sense.

Used Yukon Denalis were going for more than new ones much of the last year. Still are on some trim levels. That’s pretty specific though.

Or, we dont really understand how a heavy arse truck is going to be going up a boat ramp, going into a wet camp yard, or driving down a freshly rained on dirt road.
