Cliffs please Are there any injuries?
Everyone is accounted for. They didn't say whether anyone was injured, but saying everyone is accounted for I would assume if there are any injuries it isn't anything major.

Plenty of friends passed over for unqualified engineering candidates. Senior management bonuses tied to certain hires.
I've worked with several "unqualified" engineers out there... Those dudes are top notch and certainly qualified.

With a blast, and shockwave like that there will be some injuries.

What results from it burning?
Usual combustion stuff, nothing you’d want to breathe directly but dispersed in air very little risk.
With an explosion that big and confirmation of secondary explosions, there’s no guarantee something else isn’t leaking though.

I’m outside with the dog bc I could t handle the wife. If it’s leaking and blowing this way there is no odor now.

My house is between LSU and gardere, old and drafty. Nice knowing y’all but if I’m going out, it’s going to be with the ac on!
You are more likely to go out because you live close to gardere.

EtO is very flammable. From the videos I’ve watched, it should be all completely combusted, no harmful byproducts if so.
Correct. If the EBV’s closed as they should have the EO in the explosion should have burned off. The issue would be if they failed to isolate or there is still unburned EO when fire is extinguished. That unreacted EO could cause issues. EO is an inhalation and skin hazard, toxic, and carcinogen.

Up on the bluff. Not down with the poors. I hear the chargers, but don’t have to see them.

This is worthy of its own thread.

I’m confused - isn’t your AC a closed system? It’s recirculating indoor air and removing moisture with the outdoor condenser unit?
I don't know if this was addressed already, but your central a/c doesn't usually draw air directly from outside. However, the layout of the system causes small pressure imbalances around the house. Closed rooms with multiple vents have a positive pressure, causing air to leak out the windows and doors. The room with the return (filter box) is at a negative pressure (vacuum), which draws air in from windows and doors. It takes in additional air to make up for the air lost out of the positive pressure rooms.
The bottom line is that running your a/c absolutely does pull outdoor air into the house.

Well, somehow she came to ask me what the explosions were. I was minding my own business and told her I have no clue. Came on here. Saw the posts, told her something happened at Dow. She said is that about across the river from us. I said yes. She said should we leave. I said no, bc we don’t even know wtf is going on, I got tired of hearing shite so I went to hang out with the fing dog bc she doesn’t ask that many questions and expect me to be a gd soothsayer.
