I have not been here in a long while, it was pretty good a while back, not excellent, but pretty good. At night, how is the food?
Someone mentioned to me that when they went at night it was as ghetto as Chimes East, little kids running around, very loud.

We like the one in Natchez. Really good gumbo and the menu reminds me of the old Sammy’s on Highland.

they don't do any sort of delivery. and if you want to order ahead for pick up, you have to pay IN ADVANCE!

I only order 3 things from there. Asian glazed wings, steak bites, or fried cheese.

That place sucks. I went there about a year ago and felt like it was way overpriced for the quality of the food. On top of that they charged me an 18% service fee. When I received my credit card bill I noticed the gratuity line on the copy I was supposed to sign did not say additional tip, just tip. On my way out the door I spoke with the manager about that bullshite practice then he kindly explained to me the 18% service fee was not a tip for the waitress but instead money for the kitchen personnel and that I was expected to leave a tip per normal practice on top of that service fee.
According to him this is common practice in the restaurant industry. I laughed at him and kindly explained to him why he will not see me at his restaurant again. I have not been back since.

It’s fine for what it is. I’d only go if invited. Food has been good.

Only been a couple of times, but their peacemaker poboy is delicious. The couple of times I’ve had it the oysters were fried perfectly.

had actually forgotten about this place. we went this past weekend.
seafood gumbo was horrible. i like dark roux but, this was actually black and tasted burnt.
The fried shrimp were really good.
we got there a little ahead of the dinner rush. when we left the waiting area was full of people and i didn't see many open parking spots. so, apparently the place is pretty popular.
