Did anyone actually watch the video?
His stance was that the government shouldn't be involved in the medical care of children and that the parents should be the ones making the decision....specifically he was addressing the bill that was put in front of him.
I watched Asa get the vaccine on youtube when the covid shots were rolling out.
Tucker doing what Tucker does...he's gaslighting and going foxnews on him.
I'm not a huge fan of Asa or anything, but you guy should seriously hear him speak before you weigh in on what he has to say.

So child genital mutilation is on the table for “conservatives.” Good argument.

He asked a simple question. Asa addressed it as a treatment. He was hiding behind “parents choice”. You treat an illness. Does he believe you can be born the wrong sex?

Here's the problem.
In order to be "medical care" one would assume it has some legitimate medical function and is used to treat something, successfully presumably. In the case of "gender affirming care," successful treatment would be "changing" the gender (sex) from one to the other.
Asa REFUSED to say that he agrees that can happen, AND YET continued to call it care and defer to parents. So...if he doesn't think it can happen, how can it be treatment...and if it's not treatment, why does he support a parent's right to subject a child to it?
This was pathetic Fence Sitting 101.

Right. He said parents should be allowed to abuse and mutilate their children. We understand what he said.
Everyone here has said that that piece of shite said the same thing you keep saying he said.
It’s no different. The words are different, perhaps, but the meaning is not changed.

Cutting off their breasts / penis is not “medical care.”
Nor is chemical castration.
