I mean, it’s not that funny, so some people might not get that you’re joking. Or might not be keeping up with the baseball roster. But you’re right, we’ll have more LHP on next year’s roster than probably any other team we’ve maybe ever had. And after Hurd, it’s looking like most of the roles will be filled in by left-handers. (I’m still not sure Guidry will pitch again).
It’s crazy, but we actually need some hard-throwing RHP (from last year’s freshman class, the incoming freshman class, or the portal) to step up and become at least trusted bullpen guys that can come in and give teams a different look. Which is the complete opposite of most teams most years.
