Are AP voters really this dumb or do they just have selective memory?

This is what is so frustrating about college football.

It's all about the "now" in college football.

Oklahoma used it athletes to dominate Texas Tech. UT should have been able to do the same.

OU>Texas and they deserve it

No... not at all. It took a miracle for TTU to beat UT (at home mind you).

UT beat OU at a neutral site by 10 points. Being destroyed by OU throws TTU out of the equation and then you're just evaluating OU or UT.

Don't lose, still no problem. BCS works again.

That's a bullshite argument when the system comes down to comparing 1 loss teams or no loss teams like in 2004

Yeah but the whole A beats B, B beats C, and C then beats A can turn into trouble. Would it be possible for a team that didnt even make their conference championship game to make the title game (see UGAy's bitching last year)? Say the Big 12 title game talk comes down to just texas and oklahoma, and who would play mizzou. It would be texas because they own the head to head. Now if Mizzou beats Texas in the title game, and OU is ranked number 3 in the nation, would they be getting a shot at the national title? I mean, the number 1 or 2 team in the nation will lose in the SEC championship ASSUMING Bamer and UF win out which is 99% likely, so that means the winner of the SEC would go against who? It really could be that team that gets left out of the Big 12 championship IF Mizzou beats the south champ.

This would ALL be avoided with a playoff.

it doesnt matter that it took a miracle for texas tech to win..they still beat Texas. Also texas tech controlled that whole game until the end when texas scored but left too much time for texas tech. Oklahoma should be ranked ahead of texas. I dont care if texas won the head to head. They lost to texas tech, who got killed by OU. So yes if texas is ahead of OU by yalls logic then texas tech deserves to be ahead of Texas. It all comes down to who loses last. Oklahoma lost early in the season and is making a run.
