Looking for upscale and great atmosphere dinner recommendations in Mexico City's Polanco district or close by. Pretty sure we're staying at the JW Marriott so would like to be fairly close to this area.
Also, any sights or attractions you'd recommend in Mexico City? Thank you for your time!

Can't help you there but...every time I've been in MC I was in the La Condesa district and it was fabulous.

Pujol
It’s outstanding. Get the ants.
As far as things to do - it makes for an incredibly early morning, but the hot air balloon over the Teotihuacan pyramids at sunrise is pretty awesome.

Quintonil.
Entremar (sister restaurant of Contramar) is great. Not as $$$ as Pujol or Quintonil, but it's really good and in the area.
Take an Uber (so freaking cheap) to Coyoacan and see the Frida Kahlo museum, then walk over to the Trotsky house. You can get great food at the Coyoacan Mercado.

Not upscale at all (many excellent ones already covered here), but walk over to El Turix for some Yucatán-style tacos and a beer or two.
The line is often out the door, and there’s little seating, so you’ll see people standing around eating outside. It’s good eats though.

Our 3 best meals in CDMX were Rosetta, Meroma, and El Turix.
