Not very much. Eastern Europe technically ends at the Ural Mountains to the east. Russia inhabits most of that landmass.

Interesting take.
Was in Italy for 2 weeks this summer, 3 cities, and there was a distinct lack of purple haired, tatted up, body modification types.
Maybe we were just in the wrong places but everyone it was with noticed this also.
