South LA is way more heavy Dem and they threw away one of the better gop candidates LA has had in Abraham just because he was from North LA

And because "their guy" didn't get the GOP nomination, Edwards won re-election. I'm not saying Rispone was a good candidate, but in a solid red state like Louisiana, it's pretty embarrassing to have to suffer through Democrat governors because a segment of the state is petty.

I don't recall much of Abraham campaigning down here. AP has to be a top 10 if not top 5 parish for voter turnout and usually is close to 50/50 Rep/Dem.

so we fricked them in the primary and they fricked us in the runoff



i want to know whom the R candidate will be that will flip back Jefferson and St Bernard...
