Chicken first opened TD back in 2001 in hopes of it eventually becoming the biggest LSU site on Al Gore's internet. As you can see, it surpassed that by 10000%.
Prior to August 2003, you did not have to register an email address to post, just a log-in and password. Oweo would have had 1,000 alters back then if he was around.
So, the registered email required site was born on 8/9/2003 with Chicken as the first to sign-up officially. I was 12 days later on 8/21/03.

The TD domain was initially registered in 2001. The forum went live in 2002. 2003 is just when we started having user accounts.
