Meaning, did Les Miles get extremely lucky, and end up looking like a lot better coach than he actually is?

Offly enough, I thought he only lost two games his first three years, not just last year. 3 < 1

three years are a fluke, this one year right now is the true measure.

Obviously

The talent and senior leadership on the team won several games for LSU last year...those leaders are gone and so are Miles "great coaching" decisions.
It's not a coincidence.

We are dealing with the effects of having a star Junior QB kicked off the team. We are playing two QB's that should not have been playing until 2009, maybe 2010.

The poor QB performance has led to lack of confidence throughout the entire program.

This isn't Miles' fault. RP has set the program back a year.

yes we had 6 games that could've gone either way and we won 4 of them, and had enough shite fall into place that a 2 loss team could play for the MNC for the first time since the early 60s

The 4 losses don't bother me, near as much as how we weren't even a worthy opponent in 3 of those 4 losses.

Disgree. Miles should have kicked that thug off the team before he did. That would have given him the chance to prepare a QB for this year. You can say we only beat Tenn because RP played, but that is pure assumption. He should have kicked RP off the team mid way through the season. He was a terrible kid who could not lead a pack of cars down a one way street.

Miles thinking RP would have been able to lead this team this season says alot about himself.

Chicken I have been going crazy with some of these "fans". I'm just as upset as any other fan but I can't take all these personal attacks on the players and coaches

No! He had a 5th year senior at QB. An experienced D, and Pelini.

i've always judged a coach on his 4th year...that's when he's playing with the guys that he's recruited.

the shite defense doesn't play into it at all? Its a little rougher on a new QB when every opposing team teabags our D on the opening drive straight down for a TD.

Do you blame Perrilloux for this team not improving in any area as the year has gone on?
Three or four losses isn't surprising.
But it's how they've lost. This team has been beaten handily in three of it's four losses.
Talent has bailed him out since he got here.
Miles & staff are actually having to coach now.
See the results.

IMO Miles has very little to do with how this team plays. He picks the coordinators and then lets them rip. Last years' coordinator on defense was better than this year. That's his fault, but it's not like he is making X and O decisions that are bad. I doubt he makes many X and O decisions at all.
