Anyone have the scoop on the Baseball Recruits?

Can anyone give us a quick rundown of who is likely drafted, who are the borderline guys and whatever other details we may have?

Blake Mitchell is gone.
Cam Johnson likely gone.
Milam and Larson will be sweats.
I'm going off memory, so I may be omitting someone, but I feel good about the rest of them getting to campus.

Bunch of them were in omaha this weekend and hanging around the parent tailgate in D lot. Don’t have a scoop or anything. Just know some got to see what this was like live. Curious if it has any impact.

Yeah, Jay took a picture with them and the trophy. It was a bunch of guys that are playing in a small summer league in Utah, plus Anderson.

I'd imagine that NIL won't help much for guys drafted early but probably helps a ton for guys drafted in the 6th round or later.

If they are drafted early they are gone. Teams can’t lose the extra cash by not signing so the deal is generally in place before their name is announced.

Basically you're saying that if their name is called at all they are 95% not coming no matter the round?
Makes sense to me but is there a round, say maybe 15, where they would take a chance on a guy that might not sign?

If a name is called in the first ten rounds, it's more like a 99% certainty they're signing.
Beyond that, there is a small chance they don't sign. And it depends on more factors than can reasonably be listed here because they're team specific and depend on other guys that were drafted.

Only other one I would consider a "sweat" would be Jake Brown. I like our chances of him getting to campus. His mind frame on playing for LSU seems very similar to Gavin Guidry last year. Still someone to keep an eye on though.
