I wonder if he meant when we were healthy. With Zion, I think we were decent at covering the paint.

True, could have been it. I didn't listen yet so I don't know the full context.

Would be nice to see the mods start dropping the hammer on the habitual offenders.

Bingo, I said this about a million times during the season in regards to CJ. People flip out and call Zion and BI soft and every name in the book for not playing hurt, and a lot of those same people flipped out and hated CJ for missing shots while playing hurt and going as far as saying injuries are no excuse and if you're out there you should perform to your expected levels blah blah blah.

One thing I’ll never do is criticize a player that’s putting everything he has out there on the court for his team and the fans. I will criticize those that don’t do that though. I said multiple times last year, even 80% Zion is better than anyone else we can put out there, you don’t have to be 100% to play. It sucks that the only two players we have that can’t play through injury is the two best one.

Last year just looking at shots at 0-3 feet, we were slightly above league average in % of a team's shot coming in that range against us, so teams were getting to the rim at a slightly above average rate on us.

But that's the point. With Jonas at center, teams with skilled guards could run P&R and get to the rim at will.

On the other hand, when Larry is at center, we simply switch and block the path to the basket.

That's the #1 reason why, per Cleaning the Glass, we were a net +8.8 points per 100 possessions last year with Larry at center, while we were -0.5 with Jonas at center.

When asked about a rivalry building between Pels and another team, Trey brought up Phoenix and said its building.

CJ had the correct answer and said there is no rival because we haven’t been in the playoffs enough to have one.

Much love to Larry for setting this up and for Trey and C.J. for hopping on. Unreal to me they were willing to do that, hopefully they started a trend across the league. Congrats and thanks to Chris as well.

From day one Larry has been an asset to this franchise as a whole more than any player I’ve seen. He tries to reach out to everyone. Lead them boys Larry, you got that honesty in you a team needs!
