I had great service out of a pair of 2007 175’s. Damn things were so quiet I would forget they were running.

I have the 200 OX66 Saltwater Series II. About 500 hours on it. Great motor, just looking to upgrade.

Has anyone had a Suzuki in the 150hp range? I was favoring Yamaha for a repower but they recently made some changes and they weigh more than the Suzukis now.

I have a pair of 140s that have been flawless. Zuke is cheaper and just as reliable as Yam.

They were trailing in the weight vs displacement race. All pretty much even now except Merc which is lighter by a bit and more displacement. Even Tohatsu is right there and I'll probably go ahead and get a quote for one as they come with the controls in purchase price.

Yea. I ran a few of those on my bass boats back in my guiding days. The last 2 stroke HPDI I had was a 2006, 225. I ran that thing till it died. I had it about 6 years and put 2400 hours on it.

I put a lower unit on it, rebuilt the trim cylinders and that is it. Thing was a stud motor. Once it blew, I did not even attempt to fix it. I traded it in on my first SHO.

I have ran every motor out there other than Suzuki. AS long as I am able, I will run a Yamaha outboard on all my boats. They are simply the best of the best to me and from my 40 years of using them.

Tohatsu came out with their own 150 hp design a year or two back. No longer Honda
