Family surfing lessons in Maui

Upcoming family trip to Maui in July, any recommendations for surf lessons for total beginners? Staying in Wailea/Kihei area and my kids ages are 10 and 16. Thanks in advance.

Most resorts rent surfboards and offer beginner lessons. Try and see if they offer where you are staying. If not type in surfer lessons in that area i almost guarantee they have them. Great time to learn in Hawaii the waves are not very big that time of the year.

Try reaching out to Zack Howard if he’s still on Maui. A buddy and myself took lessons with him and he was great. Took us to his house afterwords and let us rent a surfboard from him for cheap

We went in March. We used Surf Shack. Ask for Benny. He had my daughter up on first try. She loved it.
