Good on the kid for not hanging his head and staying locked in to turn a crucial double play in the 8th. Young man had his worst game of the year and hung in there. I appreciate that.

Bunting was the right call. Gave us the best chance imo. More likely he hits into a DP or strikes out if we don’t.

I felt so bad for Thompson with those 2 close foul balls. Wanted him to get a hit in the corner so bad

I agree that bunting was the right call but it looks foreign to Thompson.
