I agree with Rand Paul on this. Trump has a few things to take accountability for.
Just as all politicians and others do. Trump would be better off admitting this as well.

Yeah. If you are completely unpersuasive as a legislator, it’s disingenuous to act like your position on the particular issue for which you can’t persuade anyone else in your ranks is really relevant to anything - especially toward the Executive.
