They seem to be making so much profit from the Jello challenge over the last few years, yet they still are using a shitty white board to tally everything? Really? Can someone explain to the owners that they could install a digital board, TV, or even an IPad to keep the score electronically. Has the internets made its way to Nebraska yet? Do they have electricity yet?

A fricking white board? SMH

Please tell me how using a digital board will make them more money than using the white board

I’m saying with all of the money they’ve made, they should be able to install a digital board, or a laptop connected to a tv, to display the standings.

Oh wow, Hat, that really hurts. I’m not sure if I can survive this accusation.

Look all I’m saying is I think it is dumb to have to continue to display the results of this so called “genius” marketing effort on a white board with erasable markers. I really don’t care how they do it. They can use a yellow post it note for all I care. Just a suggestion to move to some sort of digital display. They don’t have to install a stadium scoreboard or Jumbotron. Relax everyone.

Why is it dumb. Use your words. What is the benefit from the electronic display

Part of the alure is waiting for the updates 4x/day on that whiteboard

That would be lost if we went to some digital tracker or live webcam as some have suggested.

Your way of thinking is exactly how the CWS went from having a wood and steel baseball cathedral sitting high on a hill overlooking miles of prairie and the Missouri River where there was always a cooling breeze blowing, Rosenblatt Stadium, to a plastic and aluminum siding, sweltering on a landfill in the lowest part of the city where there's almost never a breeze and perpetually inhabited by gnats and mosquitoes, Schwab stadium.
