and the market tanks what you buying?
CELH for me. I only bought a few shares at 80. Now to scared to buy at these price but big drop i'm loading the wagon. Anything you buying? if you say NVDA or MSFT then that's going to have to be a big drop.

Looking like most are expecting a pause only . This is why i posed the question for a big drop on a raise.

Smart money is on the Fed pausing. If that happens, bulls run bigly.

I worry about the hawkish language/footnotes they'll use in conjunction with the pause. Could possibly be a trap for bulls.

The expectation is that it will be a pause but if it is not then this will cause a move downwards in the market for sure. Since I'm mainly a day and swing trader I will either stay away or buy Puts on big name stocks that have been running. And IMO this will not last long, maybe a day or two. Then it will start coming back up.

When's the last time the market went up after a fed meeting? Just curious. Seems like they always manage to put a damper on things.

I keep hearing this and it makes logical sense, but historically inaccurate.

Normally a large pullback after rate hike reversals.

There may be a later pullback, but this pause is something the market has been jonesing for over the last year. At least initially, the excitement and optimism should be like a 5yr old on Christmas morning.

Or are we buying the rumor and selling the news?

Expect a dip even if nothing goes on with the rate today. Powell will say something that will spook the market guaranteed. Come on dip daddy needs that CELH at a discount.

.25 hike wouldn’t surprise me at all. I thought they were going to pause at the last meeting due to all the regional banks imploding.

Jesus Christ, I missed my calling as an analyst. And for my troubles I received literally 0 upvotes for my insight and keeping you bulls from making a day trading mistake. Oh well, some heroes don't need to wear capes. I'll take my expertise back over to Poli Talk. So long Money Board gay boys.
