for net spend. That’s what happens with manager turn over. Also we don’t have the luxury to to just sell off players we miss on.

Stating a fact isn’t blowing Liverpool

Imagine arguing on a message board 20 mins after winning the champions league and not celebrating

you really pretending ownership of a club is not a major topic of football? Are you being stupid for fun or something?

It is for clubs that don't win. I couldn't care less about owners. I don't cheer for owners, I cheer for a team. Your feigned outrage at...whatever is noted, yet impotent.

Do I like it? No. Do I care? No. I'm an American supporting a club in England owned by some fricks in the middle east. It's irrelevant honestly.

And the fact United spends its own money

Who gives a shite?

We also have owners who take money out of the club and never invest into it.

And your net transfer spending is approaching a billion the past 5 years, when you're calling out City for spending billions

City has such a good net because they buy good players they can sell for good money.

City really missed out on Gabby Jesus or Zinchenko. They got a good return on Sterling, too.

Imagine being so privileged that disliking ownership by a repressive regime is "feigned outrage."

I mean honestly what do you expect? Do you want city fans to go on a hunger strike or something? It's big business, nobody is clean.

Clutch those pearls harder.

I mean a lot of people stand up for human rights. The fact you casually brush it off as just sports is more an indictment on you than the people who do see a problem. I guess we shouldn't care about the human rights of those who built the stadiums in Qatar either. We got to see good football!

just a friendly reminder that united has spent more $$$ than city since pep arrived.

pep and his staff are the reason they won the treble. not money.

And now look from since the take over

City forced United and others to play catch up in a transfer market that was inflated due to City’s reckless spending for so long before Pep

Love how the last 5 years is the only metric you stand on

They also broke the rules and cheated to get to this point

Dude, the entire EPL is guilty of this in terms of worldwide soccer.

Look at mid-tier EPL teams and their net spending over top quarter teams in other leagues.

It's not. City has spent less net than ManU the past 10 years as well

Stupid rules rational only in the sense that they protect legacy teams. I wonder why you support them, Mr. American fan of an elite legacy team.

Everyone had to play catch up and went crazy especially with the Sky money
