Long before the left invented “pride month,” the Catholic Church dedicated June to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, a tradition originating from the 17th-century visions of Christ received by French nun St. Margaret Mary Alacoque. Enter Ross McKnight, a Louisiana Catholic father of five and owner of Blackwater Foie Gras, whose business is now under attack after he made an Instagram post on Sunday commemorating the Sacred Heart of Jesus that provided his followers with ways they can protect themselves from “false pride” and counter the “attempted coup of the month of June.”
quote:
Within a few hours of his Instagram post, several of McKnight’s customers, some of whom he had a personal relationship with, began canceling their orders. This included McKnight’s biggest clients — two high-end New Orleans restaurants that previously committed to buying from him throughout the summer.
“While we’ve never required our customers to pass a litmus test before serving them, it seems our values, which come from lives lived as Louisiana Catholics, are considered unacceptable by some,” McKnight wrote in a second Instagram post following the backlash
quote:
McKnight supports his family exclusively through their pasture-based family farm. Harrison Weinhold, a patron of Blackwater Foie Gras and friend of McKnight’s, told The Federalist that the canceled orders are costing the family somewhere between $6,000 to $10,000 a month in total revenue.
quote:
One of the farmers’ markets that McKnight is a member of put out a statement “celebrating pride month” and refused to take it down even after McKnight pointed out that statement could be interpreted as an endorsement of pride by all the individual vendors. In response to the farmers’ market’s pride statement, McKnight told The Federalist that he “put out a little sign that says, ‘celebrate humility’ with an image of the Sacred Heart.”
quote:
Since his Instagram post, nearly two-thirds of McKnight’s business has evaporated, putting him and his family in a dire financial situation. Yet when interviewed by The Federalist, McKnight expressed a baffling sense of peace and even joy. “There’s that animal need to have food and shelter and clothing — certainly,” and “I’m concerned,” said McKnight. “But I don’t know how to precisely explain myself … I’ve lost everything overnight, but the suffering is valuable,” he said.

We just need lists of who we should support and who can DIAF

He needs to post all who have cancelled over their anti-Catholic/Christian bigotry. Local Priests need to come out saying they are praying that the hearts of "XYZ business name" change. Essentially calling them out.
If Christians aren't willing to play by the new rules then Christians deserve what they get.

I struggle with this: sometimes we need to turn the other cheek.
Sometimes, we need to throw the money changers out the temple!

That's a good Clip of things sold out. Hopefully, it's because people have picked up the slack. Heterophobes cancel orders because of hatred.

Way too many simply will not fight. "It was God's choice."

If he sells near me, I would be happy to buy from him.

My understanding is they will ship most things to you. Some items on the website indicate they will not ship them, such as eggs.

He should have kept his religious beliefs, and his hatred of gay people to himself.
He only did this to himself. Let his business fail for him being a fricking idiot.

thanks for giving us a little demonstration

Oh yeah. Humility vs sexual deviance. Hard choice there. “All that is needed for evil to triumph is for good people to stand by and do nothing”. Even so, there will be a lot of martyrs before the dust settles on this dog fight.

He did nothing to suggest he hates gay people, but if he was surprised he lost business from the New Orleans area after posting anti-gay/pride stuff, then yes he is an idiot.

Army Vet
What a useless individual you are! I am a honorably discharged veteran! It makes me sad that one of my Army vet alumni can have such a callous view on a man who firmly believes in his God and faith!

I'm glad you pointed that out.
The only thing I saw was that he made it clear that he was not a pride participant. That's not hate.

While pretty benign. Once again.. business has no good reason to insert themselves into a boiler plate social issue.

I no longer have that issue. The line is clear. Anyone that promotes homosexuality as the norm, especially to children, then I'm not going hold back on my views.
Gay pride is the 180 degree opposite of Christianity. Anyone who pushes it is pushing evil. Obviously I will be as respectful as I get back but I'm not going to let these people try to say I'm being a bigot towards their beliefs when they are being a bigot towards my beliefs.
Frick'em...I'm done and it's time to Templar Up if we are going to win this war. Good thing is I can ask God for forgiveness of I cross a line by accident.
