Pretty sure Tre had one hit all weekend.
He was 3/14 actually.

Pretty sure he had two hits but you are right that's slump hitting. Although one was an RBI double in the 9th.

I’ve never seen a fan base so completely lose focus on what is important in baseball as we have when it comes to Tre’s great defensive play at first base. It is a LUXURY to have a great fielding first baseman (and he did make two big plays yesterday), but it probably ranks about 49th out of 50 on what it takes to build a championship team. One spot above having a catcher who can run fast.

I’m happy that LSU won the regional. I care about team awards, not who makes the all regional team.

Tre did not have a great weekend at the plate. So not surprising when you take Forrester's offensive numbers into account. The dude was 8/17 batting nearly .500 c'mon its not that hard to see who had the better weekend.

Tre can take solace in the fact that Sundays game quite possibly would have been a lot different without the brilliant play he made to keep the game 4-2.

It isn’t a lifetime achievement award. It is for that weekend. Other guy clearly deserved it
