I will admit I was duped by Bolton. Actually him coming on board was something that made me feel better about Trump being president his first term. As I was definitely one of those that thought he was a legit democrat plant.

trump biggest failure is he was very naive about washington corruption, he felt you pick the most experienced people for the job and they would ignore their personal politics and do whats right for america because at the end of the day, we are all americans first.
he never imagined people as corrupt to the core who would put their mothers in jail if it meant they could get any political advantage or a payoff for it.
it was his achillis heal in that he wasnt ready for the depth of the deep states corruption in ever level and aspect in washington
all his supposed bad hires were the best qualified for their jobs, they just rather sabotage trump than work with him because they DGAF about america at all.
thats a lesson trump learned the hard way, but it took a while to get sorted out and by then he was in the middle of meuller BS and the impeachments

Why are we giving people second chances? There should be no second chances for General Election losers. It's bad enough that Romney got a 2nd chance and is serving in the Senate. The Democrats are the party that embrace General Election losers - Carter (1980), Gore, John Kerry, Hillary, etc. They embrace losers because they're mentally weak people. We should be better than that.
