Dumb question about THC gummies

From what I understand some farm bill says you can grow hemp if it’s less than 0.3% (I think that’s the number). But I see gummies advertised with all sorts of high levels of THC. Did the law just address what you can grow and not what you can do with it? Are they distilling low level hemp into higher level products? Or are gummies bullshite and people just think they’re getting high and still failing piss tests?

As long as it's less than 0.3% thc, it's legal. So growers figure out how to do that, and still get you high. They've developed strains that are low thc, but very high in other compounds that can give the same effect.
Thus the plethora of thc delta 8, delta 10, thcA like strains you can find in any vape shop.

Can you post a picture?
I think they just distill the THC from the hemp that's legal and then can do whatever with that THC.

It's all a way to make money off of people who are stupid enough to think life is better because you temporarily have a particular molecule bound to your brain.

1. Thanks, so does that mean .3% in the raw hemp as grown or .3% in the gummy? I’m talking about over the counter stuff, not medical.
2. So it sounds like THC per the law is just delta 9 and the limits don’t apply to other variants?

Some folks are selling hemp products and claiming you get high from them. Nothing but placebo phenomenon. It's seriously the difference between a gallon of water with a drop of near beer in it and 190 proof shine.

I’m open to a healthy debate, but lumping coffee beans and fermented grapes into the same category as SSRI’s to show the insignificance of MJ is a bit disingenuous.

Well statistically (and anecdotally in my experience) is a LOT more dangerous.
Coffee is also not a good comparison in the alternative sense. Who really compares coffee to alcohol or wee?

Yep. Before I got my medical card I bought a 500 mg Delta chocolate bar and ate way too much of it. I was so high I was on the couch for the afternoon and evening.
