This is a stupid reason if so. It's the weekend. West coasters can watch a baseball game at 5 pm if they are interested.
Central time zone baseball should not start at 8 pm.

LSU will be the home team tonight. When both teams have been visitors the same number of times, the higher seed is automatically the home team (no coin flip). When the teams have been visitors an unequal number of times, the team who has been visitors more will be the home team.

That explains why ESPN app showing the higher seeds as home team on todays scoreboard. Thanks

Yes they changed it last offseason to where the highest seeded team in every game is the team.
