Maryland is a legit team. Haven't lost a big Ten series in 2 years. Big Ten, I know but still impressive.

But when they stepped out and played SEC teams, they lost 5 of 6 (well, one of the losses was to Hawaii), including 3 of 4 to last place Ole Miss.

If we make it out, we will face Aggies again.

I follow okstate. Aggies handle these guys. They're a lot like LSU. Go yard or go home.

ULL was projected as the last team in before the 2 bids got stole. They may not even get in now. Tulane getting in may push Nichols to Arky or Bama as a 4. Lots of stuff up in the air. Will Indiana St and Campbell get hosts or does USCe get one. I just hate seeing conference matchups in the supers.

I’m not sure they will send Tulane to the # 6 overall national seed. Prolly send them to Arkansas

That's not really how this works.

I really don’t think they worry about 4 seeds too much. Usually just a lower tier or bad team close to the host.

I’m kind of concerned we get TCU as a 2. They are hot now and jumping on OK st. early in the title game. I hate getting teams that won their conference tourney.

Do not want a Tulane team with 15-39 regular season record in regional. Ridiculous.

I know you follow college baseball nationally (betting and all ). What possible two seed as a legit shut down ace and a good enough two where they could save the ace for us.

Tulane has a terrible RPI - they lost 40 games and stole a bid on the final weekend. They will not be rewarded with a bus ride to their regional. Some of these 4-seeds are gonna have to charter a plane - might as well make Tulane, especially when they are a "rich" school compared to Nicholls.

Tough without knowing who the 2 seeds will be. But teams that could be 2 seeds that fit this mold are:
North carolina
Nc st
Texas
West virginia
Iowa
Maryland
Campbell
Washington
Dallas baptist
Ecu
Southern miss
Uconn

All fit that bill.

With that said, i dont think this is real worry, as we will be throwing skenes against any of those teams in that scenario. They are likely to use their aces in game 1 for that reason.

The NCAA covers travel costs. Which is why they will bus Nichols to Baton Rouge. Tulane can go anywhere — would not be shocked to see Stanford or BC.

Who would be some of the weaker 2 seeds?
