Southeast Vs North TX doesn't make sense, I am not a native to Texas but this is how I divide it up.

Not a bad map. I’ve never called that area of SoTX the “South Texas Plains.” In Corpus Christi, we are Gulf Coast, but also lumped in with South Texas. So…maybe having the plains makes sense.

I’ve also never really heard of a “Prairies and Lakes” area. I think the top part of that, and westward into a little bit of the panhandle would be “North Texas”, and the southern part of Prairies and Lakes would be absorbed into the other neighboring regions.

Can't argue with that map. Personally, both the Gulf Coast and DFW can get bent. I'll take the Piney Woods all day.
