I highly suspect that Trump is more or less as good to Melania & Baron as he knows how to be, but he's not capable of being some warm, caring husband or father.
The reality is that this is the truth for a lot of men like Trump, a lot of politicians, etc. When your priority is love of oneself, there is just limited space for anything else.
