Including Girdwood and Bear Valley I agree.

There are people that surf the bore tide, its actually kind of cool. Its a huge risk though.

Agreed.

Good fishing in Byrd Creek and then on to the Kenai Penninsula. The upper Russian River and Hope Creek are great spots as well. I also like the Anchor River down by Homer.

It’s pretty amazing this time of year with snow still covering the mountains all the way to the road. Some of the lakes along highway 1 still had ice on them.
