I don’t know. When I am in Europe I make every effort to avoid looking at a television.

They have some us stations at hotels, unless you are looking for something specific

I couldn't find any on a recent trip. Mostly watched netflix on my ipad after bedtime. Otherwise no tv.

If you have a paid service at home (dish, streaming, whatever), download a free vpn app and then use the app of whatever service you have. Nothing to it.

Let me take up for the OP although I raised the same question above.

He posted on the Rant this morning. He was watching the LSU game. That is one of the few good reasons for watching television while vacationing in Europe.

I never understood this, there are times people want to just get some r and r and put on the tv, regardless of where I am, a tv is useful. Even if just one hour a day. Why would anyone talk shite about this?

You will need a VPN. Try the Opera browser - it has a VPN built into it, and you can select from 4 areas of the world. Some Spanish streaming networks have a limited choice of American TV channels. We have Orange in Seville and it has TCM, CNN, and a few others.
