Al-Jazerra described the spring offensive by Ukraine as recovering as much as 200-300 yards per day. Thats a diaster .

This war is not meant to be won. It’s meant to spend money and enrich DC and other cronies

Yesterday marked exactly one year when the first Russian artillery landed on Bakhmut. They still have not taken the city.

It's basically become First World War trench warfare on a smaller scale. Offensives are measured in yards instead of miles. I hope the Joint Chiefs are studying this conflict because this is what awaits us in a hypothetical Third World War if either side fails to gain control of the air.

They have sucked a lot out of our stockpiles and money though.

Is it bringing in more financing?
Wars end when you run out of money or men. I think we have a ways to go.

In WWI, the technology outpaced the tactics, resulting in stagnant lines. By WWII, the tactics had caught up to the technology.
We have no idea what WWIII would look like (if it doesn’t first go nuclear), but it’s clear that technology has surpassed tactics again.

Include the patriot missile battery loosing a 120 million bucks of misses in two minutes and the launching systems destroyed . Really got to wonder what our trillion dollar a year military might is useful for. Question if woke politics inclusion into military contributes to the poor performance

We have to send billions more. Only way this will end is to get more money to those Nazis.
Mandatory tax increases on everything across the board for the next five years.

We're talking about a country who can't even afford to repair their one and only DIESEL aircraft carrier. They're going to be waiting a long time.

A US-China or NATO/Russia conflict would look nothing like this. This conflict is like this because (a) both sides have a technological hand behind their back (in Ukraine's case, because NATO won't give them the good stuff) and (b) neither side is capable of controlling the air. Russia's AF is a mess, and Ukraine's was practically non-existent before this war even started.

Everything becomes a stalemate in that kind of trench warfare and open country with drones spotting your every move and then BAM! You are dead.

So they have nothing to lose anyway and we are the ones throwing all the God damned money into it?

Their prestige, what’s left of it, if they manage to lose this war.
