That's impressive by WWI standards.

Al-Jazerra described the spring offensive by Ukraine as recovering as much as 200-300 yards per day. Thats a diaster

The full offensive hasn't started yet. The gains Ukraine has been making recently are from localized counterattacks on the flanks of Bakhmut. It will be very apparent when the real offensive begins.

On a positive note for Russia, they are close to taking the entirety of Bakhmut, after only a year of trying, which has to be considered a major success for them.

Russia is now sending 1950's era T54 tanks to the battlefield. They are obviously taking the gloves off.

Except the launching systems were not destroyed. There was minimal damage to one vehicle and it was not the radar.

if either side fails to gain control of the air.

The US would have air supremacy in about 15 minutes.

Ukraine is smaller than the state of Texas.

What in the actual frick could/should possibly be left standing there in a confrontation with a world superpower?

The cost estimates are in the $Trillions and rising for damages to infrastructure etc...

When does it get out of hand to stop printing money and turning over assets for the US?
