I will say that Phoenix’s offense was pretty trash. Basically was here Devin you iso, okay KD now you iso.

Very weird move. I don’t think this is on Monty.
Not really. It was him or Ayton and it's always easier to get a new coach than it is to get a fair return on a young player w/a massive contract.

Second only to euro soccer. Those dudes can win the league one year and then get canned halfway through the next for being in like 6th place.

Damn. They panicked after Luka knocked them out last year and wound up trading all their depth for KD.

Can't disagree. Ayton is absolutely a selfish a-hole, but you gotta find a way to get him more easy looks with Booker and Durant drawing so much attention. Also, couple of those bench randos can shoot it, they needed more opportunities. Making them play more straight up on KD and Book by creating chances for others, would have helped them a ton

Fire whoever made the KD trade, it absolutely gutted their depth. They have nobody on their bench, it ain’t Monty’s fault
What's your excuse for the Suns getting obliterated by 30+ points by fat Luka and the Mavericks in Game 7 at home last year? They had Mikal Bridges, Jae Crowder, Cam Johnson, and plenty of bench depth on that team and they still got killed in a must-win game.

Without CP, with Ayton disappearing, and with nothing else on the team, not much else to do.
Ishbia hitting all the new owner syndrome checkmarks in just a few months. He'll probably pursue Izzo publicly then have to settle on Frank Vogel.

Maybe he comes back to educate Willie?

Likely means Chris Paul is done in Phoenix too.
