You hate to see it.
Nah, actually it’s great to see it.

If grownups are involved and not children, I don't see an issue with these.

Yeah, most people don't care what adults do. The insistence on having children present is the issue.

I’m not a fan of all that bullshite. But lots of places do it and who really cares, it was 21 and up. Don’t like it just don’t go. Pretty shitty to shut it down over that. If she really put her life savings into it I feel for her. It’s a rough thing owning a business.

Considering her location probably not the brightest idea. But most people don’t realize how hard it is to own a small business. A sold out event helps in every way possible, staff and bills.

You can always chose not to go. It was 21 and older. But if the landlord can also do what he wants. That could hurt the buildings value if it shares other shops. Tough titties

Amazes me business owners who narrow their clientele to a small group don’t survive.

Down the street from me a sports bar type place recently opened. The Angry Elephant. Trump flags everywhere catering to extreme Republicans obviously. I doubt it makes it more than a few months.

Agree.

Don't like guns, don't own one. Don't like sugary foods, don't eat them. Don't like drag queens, don't visit places they are present.

How does the landlord shut the A/C off?

Then the landlord suddenly goes up on the rent…?

Sounds suspicious to me.. Probably already had issues with money, but they found a way to blame someone else..

I’m sure you’ll find another drag show, chin up. Someone’s balls I assume.

On April 23rd, the drag show brunch was a sold-out event for those 21 and older.

Unfortunately for Early, that moment of victory didn’t last long. She claimed her landlord shut the air conditioner off right before the show started, and eventually received a message from the owners of the building mentioned to shut down her restaurant.

“I was sitting here, and I got a message,” said Early. “And the message told me that I had until June 15th to vacate the building.”

Early said it was because the landlord increased her rent by hundreds of dollars, enough that she couldn’t afford to keep the restaurant open. She claimed it all stemmed from the drag brunch.

She can do whatever she wants with the adult clientele she wants to invite

The rest of us will forego eating at her restaurant though. Sucks to suck

The propensity to see everything in extremes destroys communication.

Agreed. It's not something I'd attend and I probably wouldn't dine at that restaurant either.

This lady is an absolute moron though. She obviously can't read the room like the Bud Light marketing lady. New Roads?
