Inquired about a new franchise in metro NOLA - Embarrassing

So I had a call today with a franchise that is highly successful in other markets, but is not in Louisiana. I inquired about doing something on the Northshore, but parameters required more people to live in a three mile radius. So that possibility was ruled out.

I then mentioned Metairie as a possibility, as it had the population requirement. He immediately said, "I went to New Orleans recently and it did not look good to me at all." I started to talk about the differences with Metairie from New Orleans, but the tone of his voice/reactions already set the stage that a location anywhere near New Orleans was not happening regardless of the required capital I already had. Horrible.
