The original NewEgg was sold, now they operate the same "storefront" model as Amazon. That being said I don't think you'll have an issue if you buy from Newegg itself vs one of their merchants. I've bought stuff direct from Newegg without issues. I'd check B&H Photo Video as well.

Hands down one of my favorite vendors. Unless you need something on a Jewish holiday. They shut the whole website down.
