It is a little trashy but who gives a shite? You have a place to cool off and the haters probably don’t.

Well played

Extremely trashy even with deck around it. Has to detract from home value.

Above ground pools are awesome. Sometimes you can find one for free as long as you go take it down.

Have yourself a few years of swimming at home and of you don't want it anymore someone will come take it down and take it away for free.
This is how we got ours when I was a kid. My dad built a badass deck around it, put up a tire swing and horseshoes and we had the most popular back yard in our neighborhood.

My wife spends that much per year on shampoo and conditioner.

Bought a house with some acreage a couple of years ago…wife wanted a pool, I didn’t want to spend 75k. Spent 7 k on a large above ground pool and 10k on the deck. Family loves it, I figure I can replace the pool once and still come out ahead. If we stop using it, easy to remove. No HOA out here to worry about.
I jokingly refer to it as our white trash pool but it’s worked out for us.

I don't care. That probably makes me trashy. And I still don't care.
