I love how people assume that star ratings will definitely translate upon arrival to campus. They just assume the Garrett kid can't be as good as Shepherd cause he doesn't have as many stars.
We'll see.

i think you can put nevis on the 1 gap DT, they like putting him in there to be disruptive in the middle

A. His name is Shepard
B. I don't think anyone thinks Garrett will play next year with 4 other QBs on the roster.
C. Shepard will play because of his big-play ability with his feet. He brings a different dimension to the game like none of our other QBs will.

Yeah I've seen him line up at both the 1 and 3. I put him at the 3 though for the added depth there and I think Davenport comes in and plays a big role at the 1.

i dont think he thought of it that way, im sure garrett will just have to redshirt due to so many QBs ahead of him. the olny reason shep wouldnt redshirt is to come in and run certain options of the offense, things we wouldnt need garrett for because they already have QBs that have his skills as a passer

1 or 2 QB's will transfer.

Q.
What does "SQ" stand for in a depth chart?

Usually you will see that with experience 1L, 2L... or SQ which I believe is practice squad.

ridley could take some snaps at full back
Posted on 11/17/08 at 12:10 pm to thunderbird1100
Ridley will be the starting FB IMO.
Jared Mitchell will not be the 3rd WR.
Doubt Loston will be the #3 saftey.

Seems like they wanted him to be a FB pre-season, but he hasn't even gotten 1 snap there all season. Sounds to me like he's entrenched, at least for now, at RB (and he looked good there). We just picked up a big FB commit (5'11, 250) in Dominique Allen so I don't see why he won't start.

I see him being a contributor next year being a senior and still seeing significant time this year IF he stays with football. If he doesn't stay with football and goes baseball (kind of the opposite of Chad Jones) then obviously he won't be a contributor at all.

That was hard to pick. I doubt the coaches DON'T start McCray at FS and Hatcher has looked pretty good this year. I know it may sound silly, but it may be best for him to redshirt if he can next year barring injury to Hatcher and McCray.

Good list Tbird.
I do think Nevis starts over Woods.
I've also made it pretty clear that I don't see any way that Jai doesn't start next year. He has been great.
Just out of curiosity, how do you think OL shapes up if Ciron leaves? Does Barksdale stay on the right or possibly move to left.
Also, I sure hope T-Bob is ready to go, but wouldn't be surprised if he isn't healthy enough to start early on.
No Benton listed either. You think he never makes it in?

Why do you have Jared Mitchell over Chris Mitchell? As of now Chris is ahead of Jared, why would it change all of a sudden next year?
Chris' Stats

That's an impressive returning roster if Black, Scott, Francois and LaFell don't leave early.

Just a gut feeling on that one more than anything why I picked Woods to start. Seems like he's getting more and more playing time this year and when a guy is due, he is due

He's actually been getting less and less time with Peterson taking his spot. Hawkins has remained on the field. Not saying Jai hasn't been doing good, but Peterson looks like he'll take over his spot next year and Hawkins will remain a starter on the outside.

I think McCoy will start. Totally depends on how McCoy vs. Barksdale looks at LT as to who will start there if Black does leave.

I hope he is too. I like seeing Georgia guys on the field for us.

I just listed commits (I know, I know, Loston isn't "official" but he's as close as it gets to official). Seems like he wil lmake it, but it's not for sure yet.

I don't, they're both a 2.
Also, pretty petty to say 2 receptions is a huge difference. They've got pretty equal playing time this year, in fact, J. Mitchell has probably gotten a little more (at least I've seen him on the field more).

Baker will not start at LB ahead of Kelvin Sheppard.
Charles Scott may enter the NFL draft.
Obama's tax plan will kick in next year, and I was reading that many Juniors may apply for the draft before that happens to save mucho $$$$$.

Damn I hope he gets here. I'd feel a lot better about our receivers if we had LaFell, Tolliver, and Benton as our top 3.
Benton could step in and be an AJ Green for us. Contribute right away.
And if LaFell leaves, it will be crucial that we have a big physical guy ready to step in and take his place.

"SQ" means that they have yet to letter. Under experience, you will see listed:
3L: 3 letters won
2L: 2 letters won
1L: 1 letter won
SQ: On the team, but no letters won
TR: Transfer
RS: Redshirt (previous year)
