This will be an interesting deal to follow.

Went to LSU, must be good

Who was the last no-name OL the Saints reached on that the Saints Talk had to eat crow over being actually solid? Just curious

Bradford could barely get in the field at LSU. He’s getting drafted in potential, just like Salvideri

Go watch the film. Saldiveri is better than Bradford.

Yeah, I bet everyone knew Evans and Armstead in the draft.

I think Armstead was well known. Didn’t he blow up late? Combine or senior bowl?

Evans was one big hit.
Carl Nicks also comes to mind
Onyemata and Hicks were definite mid round hits on the DL

Think he still has fasted 40 time for a OL in history 4.6 i think got him a lot of hype before the draft and even some 1st round consideration on some mock drafts

Armstead - Arkansas Pine Bluff
Jahri Evans - Bloomberg
I don’t doubt our ability to find OL at small schools

I don’t know one way or another, and I hope you are correct and the Saints got the best player.
But you have to admit it’s an interesting situation to follow for those who maintain that the Saints don’t pick LSU guys.

Ram was relatively unknown by the LSU/SEC only posters

If your hung up on name recognition you should have stopped watching the draft yesterday. Lol.
Let the professionals do their work.

Like I said, I don’t know. And like I said it’s an interesting situation to watch.
You guys are getting defensive about nothing.

Bradford was a fat slob for 95% of his time at lsu and he put it together for the combine. Don’t be fooled. And I say that as someone who would have been fine drafting him.

At worst he’ll provide depth

Frankly I was surprised he was picked so high. I thought he under achieved at LSU. I would not be surprised the Old Dominion kid works hard and has a better NFL career. I could easily see that happening.
Let’s let it all play out. The Saints have been good at drafting OL.

100% of LSU players are future All-Pros (with no exception).
