The Pirates are basically a glorified minor league organization. They get rid of all their best players after six years of MLB service so they don't have to pay the big money.

Been a Pirate fan since the 50s. I guess Warren Morris was the last LSU guy taken by the Pirates??? I, too, lose interest by mid-June every year.
Anyway, I’d love to see the Bucs start taking MLB seriously but they’re too cheap to build a winner.
