Not sure who to run this by, but figured this place would have an opinion.
Really creepy.
A package arrived at our home today addressed to my daughter. Her birthday is approaching so we’ve been getting a few things by mail.
I’m out of town and a package arrived today that my wife and daughter called me about. It had her name on it, correct address, ‘apparently’ sent from an address 20 miles or so north of San Antonio Texas, and the name of a Hispanic man. Google maps, it looks like the address is a mobile home or some sort of modular house.

The package was sent US Mail, and it was a basic, Stanley Thermos insulated Mug.
Weird AF.

Definitely no one we know. Very weird.

Any ideas of what, scams, predator type shite this could be? I’ve told the wife to not toss any of it for now.

First they give them the insulated mug, then they give them the trans drugs. Be careful.

shite, I don't have any kids now, but if I ever have a daughter, at 12 I'd be monitoring that shite.

Too many creeps out there on everything you mentioned.

Could be a “brushing” scam. Is it from amazon?

I always imagined Jody's to be more of the Yeti types.

The old thermos approach, that one's a classic.

Better burn the computer and get a new one.

There’s a really big Walmart/Sams distribution center about 20 miles north of SA, are you sure it wasn’t from that?

Stanley’s are the new Yetis.

100000% talk to your daughter. Could be on an app, website, Discord, whatever it is. You can also reverse look up the address and confirm the person, possibly retrieve the number and confront them digitally or over the phone.

If a stranger is talking to your daughter online and they know how old she is, get the police involved.

Shes 12yo and kids those ages are all over the internet now a days. She probably told someone on the net some information about herself (name, bday, and address) thinking it was a friend she met online, a kid her age. There are tons of predators online especially roblox.

Not cool at all.
Check all her games and social media.
I know a guy who caught his kid just in time leaving out the window to meet a online perv.
Not tying to scare you. I would be concerned though.

If she's on a desktop or laptop and you know her login I think you're justified in doing a deep dive while she's at school.

Just give her a pass on cuss words and typical shite her and her friends are talking about. Don't even say a word unless you find some reason you really need to intervene.
