whoever can throw strikes for multiple innings and it certainly won't be Blake Money. I think Guidry will be best suited as a closer. My best guess is Griffin Herring.

Little. Unless that experiment doesn't go well or Hurd starts to gain confidence and develop his command more of his pitches then Little will be the 3rd starter going forward.

Leave it TBD going into the weekend. Use who you got to use to win the first two games. Figure out game 3 when you get there.

Dylan Crews will start game 3, throw a 1 hit shut out and go 2 for 4 w/ hr and win 1-0.

With Paul Skenes doing Paul Skenes things, we need Floyd to just be a good/solid #2 and this team can win it all regardless of a Sunday guy. 2 to 3 decent relievers. Guidry looks like our closer. Love the demeanor. If Wes can fix Little and Hurd..Jesus. When we won it all in 2009. We had Coleman and Ranaudo. Ross was hit or Miss on Sundays. In the super regionals and CWS, with the format setup for both, you can win with 2 good/great starters! That’s how I feel about this team. The hitting and fielding are on par with past championships contending lsu teams. Rant over.

Herring will get in rotation eventually, he will probably throw long relief this weekend for Floyd or Little once they're done, maybe even Skenes if game is really close when he comes out tonight.

They said they've been working his pitch count up, 35 to 50 most recently.

I think we're still 3 weeks away from solidifying all of these roles. Looks like Guidry is getting the next shot at the closer spot and Little as the Sunday starter. Hopefully they seize the opportunity. If Little fails look for Collins to get the next shot while they keep working Herrings pitch counts up. Ack will probably take Herrings role when he becomes a starter. Look for Collins to replace Edwards this weekend but if Collins ends up as the Sunday starter the following week, they may try to push Hurd into Edwards role or possibly into a closer role if Guidry fails. Lots of moving parts but Money is the one guy that does not fit into their plans. Not sure what the hell you saw that led you to that conclusion

You had me at Guidry but completely lost me with Money. I mean do you just want to concede gm 3 every series with Money? Lol

I’d definitely go with Herring or Guidry.

this is pretty spot on... if now that shores is done you have 3 options for the sunday role and they dont have to be "great" I wish that he would start Herring there but I think it will come later as he gets his arm in shape. Hurd, Little, Floyd, & Herring should = two wins.... skenes is the other win...
