How do you pay it back?

Everyone knows vitello is a douche. But if what I read is true about SC needing an additional 30 min to ‘get the field ready’ after one lightning strike 10 miles away with no rain at the park is true, how do we pay it back? I get we are loaded and should act classy but that is Busch league crap. I admit it’s smart and would be happy if I was a SC fan, but should we actually send some type of message, or should we do nothing and hope karma kicks in?
And will Jay ever be an ‘emotional’ coach and get kicked out defending his team/players? The previous coach would’ve acted more alpha tonight with the ump and his horrible strike zone. I’m a Jay fan, but tonight showed me he will never cross that line with the umps. He should’ve fired up the team if he was going to ride with Hellmers for 100 pitches. Lol
I love watching the overreactions from tonight. We will be fine. I actually feel bad for SC bc they don’t even realize how much they live on the HR. They’re impressive no doubt but that team will never win the college World Series.

Good point about the homers. They hit 3 tonight, but I’m pretty sure only 1 gets out in Omaha.
We pay it back by bashing their fricking skulls in tomorrow.

Maybe he values poise and mental toughness more than acting like a cry baby bitch ?

And we are throwing a fly ball pitcher tomorrow who gives up home runs. Best thing they can do is not pitch to the big boy and unintentionally intentionally walk him.

SC is last year’s TN, they’re not making Omaha

I agree. I’m just saying if he didn’t get tossed tonight, then I will be surprised when/if he ever does.

Meh. Once Skeenes was run Jay looked forward. He knows what he needs to save for the BS weather going forward

Pay it back hoping game 2 & 3 pitchers shove today & the bats come alive.

You act like SC controls the weather delay. If a storm etc is 8 miles or less to stadium then the “rain” delay starts.

If they deem there to be lightning within an 8 mile radius. Its somewhat dependent on the home team

USCe can't control the weather but they could have moved the game up a couple hours to ensure a higher chance that they could get it in with no weather delays. If you haven't noticed LSU/CJJ has done this a handful of times already this season to be proactive and try to get the scheduled games in. As someone who travels into BR for the games, I have not always been a fan of these decisions because it affects my ability to attend sometimes and can negate the home field advantage to an extent.
USCe instead decided to leave it as scheduled and placed a premium on having all their fans in for this series and maintain the decided home field advantage. Add to the fact that it ran Skenes after 3 innings and I'm sure that they are happy with their no decision this morning. Also puts them in the driver's seat for the series with a good chance that impending weather prevents all 3 games from being played.
That being said, Im ready for our bats to go gorilla and give Floyd a fighting chance to get the victory and even this series.

Play more sandstorm and do the gay clapping like they do.
They also did the gay A&M ball 5 chant.

We want our coach kicked out of the game?
This place blows my mind sometimes.

I don’t think this is entirely usc decision- didn’t they move the games up Saturday?
